July

A Zoo day with the Zumwalt family.

Fourth of July Fun. Parade for dance. Stadium of Fire, and chasing parachuets at grandma and grandpa wilcoxs' house.

My Beautiful niece Cheyenne! Nov 9, 1999 - July 14, 2010. Oh how she is missed but I know that she is in safe arms until we can be with her again. Juat some pictures over the years. That day plays in my mind all the time. I had just sat down at my computer to update my blog when I got the call from Brittani to come and get Dakota and Syerra because they were at the hospital and Cheyenne was not breathing. I will spare you of all the other details from that day. I just can't believe I had just saw her the night before and she was fine and then that call. It is just proof to me that when it is your time it is your time. Now she is with our savior and heavenly father watching over us! I feel so blessed to know the plan the Lord has for us and to know that we will see her again.

The girls dance bbq/swimming party and awards ceremony. Every year their dance studio rents out the swimming pool and does a party and they have a wards ceremony where all dancers recieve at least one trophy. Since this was Gracies first year she got one that says first year dancer (each year the trophies get bigger, unless you are on comp. team then they are different). This year Kayla was on comp. team and that was the trophy her team received, they were both really excited.

The reat of Gracies party pictures. As you can see we had a fun time with Scooby Doo. She got lots of fun presents and she loved them all!

In the meantime I will tell you what you have to look forward too....
Month of July- the rest of Gracies Birthday, dance BBQ and Awards ceremony, A tribute to my niece, the Zoo with the Zumwalts, and anything else that I took pictures of and dont remember right now.
Month of Aug. - Andrews Wedding, My birthday, Paiselys Birthday, a fair, Kaylas first day if school, and again anything else I took pictures of and cant remember.
Month of Sept. - Trip to the cabin, Gracies first day of school, Camping trip, and anything else.

I know you are so excited and can't stand the anticipation of waiting so I will try very hard to have them on here in the next couple of days! NO PROMISES;)

Now an update on things we do not have pictures of. Dance has started back up and we are all very excited for the new season. This year I am teaching tumbling and Cheer and so far I am enjoying it very much. Gracie is in a tumbling and a dance class and enjoys both if them. Kayla is back on comp. team and they are at hard work preparing their dances. They will be doing a hip hop and and Lyrical this year and at the current time they are working on their hip hop. She also will be doing a solo this year and is very excited for that. I am theching her that and it is a Lyrical (her choice) and her costume is going to be made my grandma wilcox so we are excited for that.
Primary is getting really busy. The end of the year is always crazy. We have the program, pennies by the inch, a special christmas lesson, and preparing our books for next year. In the next few weeks I will be spending alot of time putting the program together to turn into the bishopric and then to start pracitce on OCT. 31 WOW that is coming fast! I love my calling and I can't believe this is my 4th program as primary president. I feel so blessed to have the calling I do. I love being around the children and feeling the spirit that beams from them.
Matt is hard at work as always. He is such a great man and works so hard to provide for our family. He is starting back in school now after having a break for awhile due to what was going on in our lives. He still works his second job now and then and hopefully soon he will get his promotion so that he no longer has to work two jobs (even though that means us moving away.) He is serving as my sunbeam teacher and does a great job. The girls and I are so lucky to have him in our lives, we are truely blessed!!!
My family has there ups and downs since the loss of my niece Cheyenne but overall I know that it has brought us even closer together and will make each of stronger as time goes on. She is truely missed and I have days were I can't believe she is gone and I just want to see her and hug her but then I think about how better she is now and the she is with Jesus and I am so glad I get to see her again someday.
That pretty much sums up what we dont have pictures of so for the rest stay tuned...........

April, May, June in a nutshell!

There is alot of pictures from the past threee months and since I havent had a chance to download them until now I made alot of collages to cover the past three months of our lifes. So here they go:)

Starting with June

This was a at home spa day! I painted the girls toe nails and finger nails then we had bought some nail stickers and applied some to each hand and foot. They looked so cute when they were done and the girls had alot of fun picking stickers to wear on their nails.

A fun day in the water! The girls wanted to use their slip'n'slide and they went to ask their neighbor friend if she wanted to come play with them and her mom was setting up theirs so Kayla and Gracie went there and Paisley played at our house. They had so much fun on such a hot day! Paisley really liked the water this was her first time on the mat and she loved it.

Deseret Peak dance Performance! The girls did so good we are so proud at the beautiful dancers they are becoming.

May

Paisleys first time eating Spaghetti..... She Loved It!!!

Kayla's Preschool graduation! We are so proud of her. I can't believe that she is 5 years old and graduated from preschool and will be starting kindergarten soon. She did so good singing all the songs they had practiced and she was the little jamacian girl for the song "it's a small world after all". She loved her preschool and is going to miss all her teachers. They are so wonderful and they do such a great job with the kids.

Matt's birthday! The kids decorated plates and mugs for him, and I gave him tickets to a Real game. The girls opted to buy him a cake this year but we still made him dinner.

Nationals Comp. at Lagoon. They did so good they got 1st in both of their dances. The girls had so much fun at Lagoon for their first time and got to ride alot of rides. Thanks to grandma and grandpa Zumwalt for coming and watching Paisley so we could ride the rides with Kayla and Gracie. It was a fun Day!

April

Spring fest comp. They did awesome. They got 1st in both their dances and also took overall in both!!! Kaylas' team was so excited that they had earned trophies. We were so proud of her and her team. She has become such a beautiful dancer and has improved so much just over this last year. I am glad that she is able to do something that she loves so much!
Easter!

Just some fun in April!

Random things

Gracie: I am going to use magic and turn myself into a boy so I can go into the boys bathroom!
Also she is little miss attitude and has been saying the following things alot: I can do what I want! You suppose to carry me, get me a drink, or whatever she thinks we are suppose to do! and of coarse NO but runs off screaming to either the couch, the corner, the stair, or whatever is near that she can through her head into crying.

Sweet Kayla has hit that age where people are starting not to be nice and last week a friend told her that some girl does not like her and her response to this while telling me is "you are suppose to like everyone" ME: Your right so make sure no matter what you love everyone.

I love my kids so much and their personalities are so different that they bring so much to our family in their own way.
Kayla is so loving, sweet and always helping out she just wants to be friends with everyone and she makes friends so easily because of her loving personality. She cares so much for her sister and loves playing with them. She is the best big sister.
Gracie is the character, drama queen, and micheveous one in our family. She says some of the funniest things and does the funniest things. Everything is so dramatic with her if she cant have something she wants the way she wants it, it is the end of the world. She is very micheveous if she is missing from your sight you can bet that she is into something. Even sometimes she has this look in her eye that says " what can I get into or do that I am not suppose to."
Paisley talks all the time. She is always making different noises. The funniest is that when you are singing a song it seem like she is singing with you she will be making noises and if you stop singing she stops making noises. She is such a fun good baby.

A tribute to my wonderful, amazing, sexy husband!

I am the luckiest women in the world to have such a wonderful man as my husband and best friend! The Lord sure blessed me to be the lucky women. To start off for those who don't know how we met I will share that story. I was 14 and in 9th grade and he was 15 and a sophmore in High School. I went to a football game to watch my brother play and I was with a boyfriend and some friends. He was with a girlfriend and some friends also. We were introduced and ended up talking and flirting with each other all night and it seemed like no one else was around. Well from time to time we would see each other again since he hung out with my brother. Months later I relized how much I liked him and found out that he liked me too! So we dated all through high school. He graduated a year before me and worked for the next two years before he served a LDS mission in Fresno, CA. after I graduated a year later I went to college at DSC so we had a long distance relationship before he left on his mission. While he was on his mission we wrote to each other every week. After he returned we were engaged 4 months later and were married 4 months after that. Since I was teaching seminary when we got married he moved to St. George so I could continue to teach and go to school. After living there for just about the first 2 years of our marriage and having our first daughter there he was able to get a job that made it possible for us to move back home. He does and always has worked so hard to provide for this family. We know have 3 beautiful girls that he does so much for. Not only does he work harder then any other person I know he is the best father in the world! At night he carries our daughters to bed weather it is a train ride, a hoarse ride, a piggy back ride, or just being carried he does it even if he is tired and worn out if they want it he does it and in our house that means up 2 or 3 flight of stairs. He plays games, he takes them outside, he teaches them, he wrestles with them, he lets them climb all over him, and even though sometimes it is hard to get to he is always at the important events in their lifes. I mentioned that he works so hard well right now he works two jobs just so I don't have to and I can be home to take care of our girls and also so that he can provide everything we need for our family. Even though we miss him when he is working so much I am so grateful for how much he works and all that he does for us. I now have been lucky enough to teach some dance classes so that we can pay for our girls to dance. I love my wonderful husband with all my heart and I still can't believe that I am the one who gets to be by his side for eternity!! So thank you honey for choosing me, for all your hard work, for your love, for being a amazing husband and a wonderful dad, for all that you do for me and our girls, for all the fun times and the laughs, for caring, for the oppertunity to be home with our girls, for the support when I need it, for listening, for the guidence, for holding the priesthood, for just being the wonderful, amazing, sexy, loving, had working person that you are. I AM SO LUCKY TO HAVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will love you for time and all eternity with all my heart, mind, and soul. I love you my teddy bear!

March 2010

On Kaylas' Birthday we had her favorite meal and cake and ice cream. Because she was going to have a party with friends we gave her our gifts on her birthday. Gracie was so excited to help carry the cake to Kayla. It was a good night and I can't believe my Kayla Bear is 5 years old. SHe also was student of the week at school so she got to be the special helper and take anything she wanted to school everyday to share with the class she loved it! She also has learned that when she truned five she would be going to the big school so on her birthday she asked me if it was her last day at preschool and when does she start at the big school? So I had to explain to her how it works.

I put Paisley asleep in her crib and she did not go to sleep right away after I heard the talking stop I went to check on her and this is how I found her sleeping. Isen't she just so cute!!

A cute picture of Gracie in a new place to play.

Kaylas' Birthday Party
The cupcakes and cake I made for Kaylas' Birthday party. It was princess and the frog theme.

The kids eating lunch. The Menu consisted of Frog legs(chicken fingers) swamp did (green ranch) jello jigglers that was suppose to be frogs and crowns but with not being able to find those cookie cutters were just square and grapes. As you can see I tried to stick with the frog and princess theme.

We did a few activities. We made edible jewlery which the kids aare showing off in the picture. We played pin the frog on the lily pad and I had another game planned out but ran out of time. The kids had alot of fun and their jewlery was so cute!

Kayla blowing her candles out and a close up of my cute frog cupcakes! The cake had the princess on it since the cupcakes were frogs.

Graice with a cute afro! We tried out curlers for the first time in her hair and she was so excited so we put them in her hair before she went to bed and I used the smallest ones that came in the pack. Well next time i need to use the bigger ones because although she is always cute this afro was a little more then we wanted. We pulled it up into pigtails which looked pretty cute!

This last weekend we headed down to St. George for Kayla second dance comp. It was a fun fast weekend. It was fun to see how much it changed since we moved away. We visited with Ray and Genie (the house we lived in while we were down there). We took the kids to see a volcano since Kayla had learned about them in school she has been looking around for one as we drive around. So we snapped a picture of them in front of one and then they each picked out a valcanic rock. They thought this was pretty neat. We then went to Kaylas' dance comp. where her team took first place in both their dances. They did so good! I was so proud of them and of our beautiful dancer. Just a pic. of Paisley while we were at the comp. After the comp. we went to hang out with my BFF Nicole and enjoyed some bowling. It was so fun to see her sadly I don't get to see her very often but every time I do its wonderful! It was fun to meet the man she is dating he was a great guy. Our girls both wanted to sit by Nicole and they would not let him sit by her. He went along with it. It was pretty funny!

On Sunday we went and walked around the beautiful temple. We snapped some cute pictures of the girls and each of us with the girls. Notice the one were they are looking at the temple down in the right hand corner there is two stuffed animals also looking at the temple the girls had to sit there animals down to get in the picture also.

Feb. 2010

Our Beautiful dancer Kayla. This is her first compitition she did so good. Her team got second in both of their dances. She recieved a ribbon and medal for each dance. (Just in case you want to know which one Kayla is she is the little shorty.) She is such a good dancer. I am glad she can do something she loves to do. (She is like her mother!)

Just some cute pictures of Paisley and Gracie.

Paisley's first bite a solid food. She didn't know what to think and even gaged on it. But it only took a couple of days for her to really start eating it. Now she loves food. She is a really good eater. She is slowly trying new foods but so far all have been a success!
