McKinley Turns One!

So its been months since I have posted and usually I try to go back and catch up, but I have decided that I am just going to go on from here and maybe I will be better at updating it. So, for all those who follow me and for Mary who I told I would post tonight here is our baby turning 1.

Here is the cake. It's a pink and purple lady bug!

Here is the beautiful Birthday Girl opening presents. She really didn't get into, but she was excited to see toys.
Just a cute picture of her after the presents were opened. She is such a sweet little girl, we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

It's cake time! This is her at the beginning of her cake. She was so excited to get a Sweet treat and she couldn't wait to get her hands in it.

This is about 1/2 way through the cake when she finally decided to pick it up instead of just pulling pieces of it off.

I just love this picture of her with a handful and that look at me like this is so good mom! Look at those beautiful eyes;}

And here she is when she decieded she was done. She started rubbing her eyes. She was so cute with her cake and really our only child who really went at it. The other three had to have help and still didn't get to messy.

I can't believe how fast she is growing and knowing she is our last it seems bittersweet. Over the year I kept telling her she can't grow since she is our last but, she wouldn't listen to me:) We love her so much. She brings such a sweet spirit to our family. She is very lucky because she has three big sisters who love and take care of her so much. I couldn't imagine our lives without her. I feel so special knowing that Heavenly Father has sent her to me along with our other three. I can't wait to see what the years bring with her and to watch her grow!!!

Jan.

Paisley feel asleep on the couch and Kayla decided to cover her with her coat and put an umbrella over, why? I don't know:)

Gracie is cuddling her cute baby sister as she sleeps. All three girls just love McKinley so much.

Sledding at our friends house. The girls had so much fun going over a sledding, to bad this was the only day they got to sled this year since we didn't have much snow. I brought some new snow boots for Gracie and Paisley and then they didn't even need them that much.

Our beautiful McKinley. This was the picture I used for her birth announcements. P.S. sorry if you did not receive one, I got 1/2 of them done and sent out before our visit to Utah in Feb. and then we came back home and it was one thing after the other so I never got back to finishing them and by the time I could get to them it seemed to late, or yours got lost in the mail because I know that at least one of my brothers did not get theirs. Just know that I did think of all of you and had intentions to send them to you.

Dec.

December was a big month for us. It started with the arrival of our 4th daughter McKinley. She came to us on Dec. 9th weighing in at 8.4 lbs and was 18 1/2 inches long. We fell so blessed to have four beautiful daughters in our family. Now our we are complete. I know that our family is whole and she was the last one to complete us.

Exhausted but, joyful mommy and baby!
Very proud daddy and baby!
She has three very happy sisters waiting for her.

And grandma and grandpa Zumwalt were here taking care of the girls and Me when I got home.

And the first picture of our complete family. (Ignore how I look, since it it horrifying, can we say totally druged up:)

Next was our 8th anniversary which was on the 13th so needless to say we didn't do much to celebrate. I am thankful every day for this wonderful man that I am lucky to spend eternity with! I love him so much:)

Next was Christmas. Here they are Christmas Eve in their new pajamas just about to go to bed.
They had so much fun opening all their presents here are some pictures of them and one of the presents Santa left them. Gracie got a pink guitar, Kayla got a purple guitar, and Paisley got a mini tramp.

Here they are in their new dresses all ready for church.

Just a picture of McKinley in her first Christmas outfit on top of the really cute blanket Lindsay made for me.

And last McKinley and her first bath.

November

We have lots of trees and a big yard full of leaves so daddy racked them up and let us play in them.

We had Grandma ans Grandpa Wilcox come and visit us for Thanksgiving. We loved that they were here but, sadly we did not get very many pictures. (It could be that at this point I was just done with my pregnancy.) While they were here they got to see Kayla in her play at school, she played a deer. I video taped the play so in these pics. you don't see her antlers because this is just at the end when they sang some songs.

We also, went and played at the park while they were here. It is really beautiful here in the fall. We had so much fun with them and we were so glad that they came to visit us.
